Our The Education Support Program will work to make the right to education meaningful by combating inequality and discrimination in education in the rural areas and exposing structural inequalities that reproduce education disadvantage and exclusion.

As Nigerians struggle to tame the psycho-social beast known as corruption, we have particularly beamed the searchlight on the behavior of public officials (civil servants, military and police personnel, elected officials etc.) and former public officials, contractors, business associates of public officials and families of public officials. However, one sector of society that has escaped the penetrating searchlight is education.  The educational sector seems to escape critical observation regarding the conduct of educational bureaucrats, administrators of various educational institutions and the faculty.  Therefore, the war on corruption cannot be won without making a determined effort to purge the educational sector of the psycho-social beast.  It appears that there is a symbiotic relationship between the educational culture and the psycho-social and political culture of the society at large.  What happens to society at large affects the educational sector and whatever happens in the educational sector affects the society at large.  Those in the educational sector learn and adopt predominant values generated by society at large and the society at large learns and adopts predominant values generated by the educational sector.

Education is the cornerstone of open societies. It lays the groundwork for the future direction of people’s lives and the societies they live in. It is a fundamental human right and essential for the exercise of all other human rights and for social, political, and economic participation.

Most countries have laws requiring children to attend school particularly in the rural areas and constitutional guarantees the right to education. Yet this right is threatened through exclusion, segregation, corruption, weak education policies, and insufficient accountability of governments and education providers. This Education Support Program and Initiative is directed to work in all Rural Communities in Nigeria. This is intended to make the right to education meaningful and seeks to enable and promote through grant-making, advocacy, and programmatic efforts—quality education for all.

WE ARE WORKING TOWARD:

Identify and amplify compelling, socially just, evidence-based ideas advancing the right to education in the Rural Area;

Support strong Rural Institutions with good governance who can deliver these ideas;

Back social mobilization and strategic litigation to demand accountability among education actors;

Convene education actors, often with divergent views, such as community organizations, unions, international organizations, government ministries, private education providers, and enable an informed and purposeful debate; and

Support and nurture education reform and highlight best practice examples to others in the education field.

CENSENSS RURAL COMMUNITIES DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE (CRUCODI)

OUR AIM, OBJECTIVE AND PURPOSE:

As members of the Great Nigerian Change Family and a Group of individual who are incurably optimistic about the growth and development of the Nigerian State under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari. We and our team of Buharist nationwide will be undertaking the under listed Rural Community Development Initiatives and Projects across the length and breadth of the Nigerian State. All the 36 States and the FCT will Benefit from these Rural Community Development Initiatives. All 109 Senatorial Districts will be our primary constituency over the next four years. Please be informed, that there no Local, States or Federal Government involvement; This is a project driven by Buharist and Nigerian Nationalist with a collective interest to make Nigeria Better and Make our People Stronger in having a voice in Good Governance and full participation in the New Nigerian National Rebirth.

Over the Next four (4) years; Millions and Billions of Naira will be Donated, Contributed and Committed into the ‘CRUCODI PROJECT’ with the key focus, aim and objective being to revolutionize the mentality and the capacity of our Rural people and get them up to the challenges of the New Nigerian Project under the Leadership of the President Muhammadu Buhari. The response has been great and the Commitment have been immense; Good Governance and Sustainable development of our people is the ultimate objective of C-SENS. Accountability, Responsibility and Commitment is the expectation from our Leaders in Government and we hope we can constantly put their feet on the fire through his medium.

Our Budget over the Next Years is N4billion (Four Billion Naira Only); Our Source of Funding are International Aids and Grant Agencies; Donations and Contributions from Private Individuals and Businesses only. No government is expected or allowed to contribute to this fund or the many projects we are embarking upon for the purpose of doing our bit for the betterment of the Rural Communities in Nigeria and the re-education of our People on Nigerian Nationalism.

The Projects and Initiatives are as listed:

a.)      Mass Sensitization of our People on Good Governance, Anti-Corruption Awareness, Pro-Nigeria and Pan-African Nationalism Awareness; Developmental Education and Societal Discipline with Conferences; Seminars and Workshop that will be organized across all the Senatorial Districts of the Nigerian State. We are expecting 110 Conferences, Seminars and Workshops over the Next Four Years to re-engage the Nigerian People. The objective is to work towards eliminating what separates us as a people (Religion, Ethnicity, Corruption and Tribalism) and promoting regional integration, Unity in Diversity and Good Governance.

b.)      The Clean Rural Water Initiative will aim to Setup 110 Multidimensional Boreholes with the Capacity to serve 1000 Homes a day over the Next Four years. The Clean Rural Water initiative will be directed only at Rural Communities where access to Water is difficult or almost impossible and Government has failed to provide clean water for the people. The aim is to not just provide drinking water, But to project clean water for other rural needs. The management and maintenance of those projects will be at the expense of C-SENS.

c.)   The Rural Renewable Electrification Initiative will provide 110 Renewable Power and Electricity Alternative for Rural Communities that have been without Electricity in Nigeria Forever. These Renewable Solutions will provide Cost free Electricity. These alternative electricity solutions will be deployed to Schools, Hospitals and Community Centres in the selected rural communities. C-SENS will be responsible for Management and Maintenance. 

d.)    The Rural Infrastructure Initiative will be directed towards setting up New desired   infrastructures in these Rural Communities; Maintain Existing Infrastructures and Upgrade where necessary. 110 Communities will be affected in all the Senatorial zones     and district of the Nigerian State. Special attention will be paid to Hospitals, Schools and  Community Centres.

    e.)     Rural Medical and Health Care Initiative will provide Support for the Old, Weak, Young and Vulnerable. We intend to provide Hospitals, Healthcare Centres and Community Maternity Centres where Medical and Health Laboratory Services will be   provided for free. Medications and Prescription services will be offered at no cost at all. Medical supplies will be provided free without requesting communities or governments to make any contribution. 110 Communities will be affected; all Senatorial Zones will be   a part of the project.

     f.)     Rural Communities Educational Learning Initiative; Will provide Physical Libraries and the desired Nigerian and Pan-African Nationalism materials for re-orientation of the Nigerian Rural Communities in all 110 Communities including all of the Nigerian Senatorial Districts. E-Learning Centres will also be provided with Computers; Laptops; Teaching and Learning aids and Support Structure to assist Rural Communities with information and education. Satellite support will also be available in Rural Communities where access to local content is lacking.

Nationwide Sensitization; Online Web Presence and Support Structure will be activated this July, 2015.
